The Quromorphic Winter Workshop is getting closer! The Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light in Erlangen will host the first edition of the event from February 14th to 16th, 2023. Bringing together experimentalists, theorists and industry experts, the workshop aims to create synergies and strengthen collaboration between researchers involved in neuromorphic quantum computing. This emerging field covers interdisciplinary topics, from quantum computing to brain-inspired machine learning algorithms, and has been steadily gaining steam, with the creation of the Quromorphic project, as part of Europe’s Horizon 2020 programme, to boost research and develop stronger ties between the various parties of the field.

The workshop will feature prominent speakers from across the globe, with in-person talks centered around the theme of the event, Integrating Hardware and Software Developments, and span the many facets of neuromorphic quantum computing: building quantum chips, industrial applications, and the state and future of the field.

The workshop is co-organized by the FAU Chair for Quantum Theory’s director Michael Hartmann and post-doctoral researcher Samuel Wilkinson.

Registration is here, and limited to 90 participants.
